Rich was saved while attending a Christian camp in Kalamazoo, Michigan at the age of 12. His relationship with the Lord blossomed at the age of 27 and he has worked to serve Him ever since.
He has been a member of Bethany Church since 1993 and has served on various ministries during that time with much of his service through the Bethany Deacon Board. Called to the ministry in 2004, Rich was trained under the guidance of Bishop Evans.
His service goes beyond the walls of the Church where he has been on many non-for profit boards which focus on Health & Human Services as well as Academic Achievement. He is in a firm believer in W3 (Work, Worship & Wait) and that God wants his children to be comfortable doing all three at the same time.
His favorite scriptures are Romans 8:28 and Philippians 4:6. And lives by the notion that “No one has ever reached the height of spiritual maturity until they find it more profitable to serve others than to serve themselves.”
