Kathleen was blessed to be born into a Christian family where her parents taught her, from an early age, that a relationship with Christ was most important. She has wonderful memories of the countless hours she and her family spent at Ephesus Pentecostal Church (Salem, NJ) during her adolescent years. It was there, at 11 years of age, that Kathleen accepted Christ as her personal Savior. Her Pentecostal upbringing is what made Kathleen feel so at home when she first visited Bethany Baptist Church and she has been blessed by the ministry ever since.
Kathleen serves as the full-time Assistant to Pastor Valerie Prescott (Conference/Events Mgr.) and part-time Volunteer Coordinator at Bethany Baptist Church. As the Assistant to Pastor Prescott, she provides administrative support for managing conferences, events, and the Abundant Harvest Fellowship of Churches, Inc. As a Volunteer Coordinator, Kathleen works to recruit and retain volunteers; creating a culture of volunteer service and active involvement of all Bethany members. Since 1995, Kathleen has gained valuable church staff experience including Chief Pastoral Officer, Executive Director, Youth Director, Music Ministry Liaison, and Choir Director.
Kathleen earned a Master’s Degree in Non-Profit Management from Eastern University (St. Davids, PA), a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from Morgan State University (Baltimore, MD), and she is also a Certified Wedding & Event Planning Professional. Kathleen married her childhood sweetheart, Biddle, in 1988 and they were blessed to raise (4) beautiful children. Beyond Kathleen’s work at the church, she enjoys spending time with her family including (2) dogs, wedding/ event planning, singing, and competitive running. Kathleen feels that the Lord led her to Bethany and she is delighted to have the opportunity to assist the staff and serve such an Anointed Bishop, Executive Pastor and church membership.
